Last year Ramboll appeared 12th in the Top 150 Consultants and 6th in the Top 50 Engineers and are over the moon to now be ranked inside the top 10.
Andrew Henderson, Executive Director for Buildings in the UK commented: “We’ve had a great year, defined by winning some very exciting projects, attracting in some great new talents and accelerating the further development of our digital offering and offsite capabilities. We’re a dynamic and innovative bunch, I’m proud of the team here and all their efforts and am really pleased to see this recognised by now being inside the Top 10.”
This follows Ramboll’s success earlier in the year in the NCE100 index which recognises the UK’s top civil engineering firms where we were delighted to jump up to 5th position, as well as taking home the Excellence in Transport award.
In an interview with Buildings Andrew Henderson reflected on the positive year and stated: “People thought 2018 was going to be the year it all turned, and it didn’t. We don’t see things changing at the moment, I see great opportunity in the market. Our focus is on continuing to deliver great solutions that benefit our clients and society and accelerating our investment into the development of our digital toolkit and innovative approaches.”
Mathew Riley, Managing Director for Ramboll in the UK added: “We’ve enjoyed more organic growth this year than we have in a long time and as part of this have welcomed many talented engineers and consultants into the business bringing us to 1,400 strong in the UK. I’ve been heartened by the recognition across the industry this year and with the great feedback from our clients. Our buildings team have performed really well and continue to differentiate themselves through their creative thinking, technical strength and digital know-how and deserve recognition as one of the most able buildings teams around.”
